The Story So Far
New York/New Jersey–based singer-actor and Actors’ Equity member Willis Goodmoore has played a few interesting men. When he’s not conspiring with a corrupt judge to destroy a London barber, herding a boatload of sinners toward heaven, or spoiling his daughter blind as the doting Mississippi planter Clement Musgrove, he is, more often than not, just being a real dad.
He’s been singing since he was six, took a long detour through the law to raise a family, and never stopped hearing the music. A singer with a wide-ranging, versatile voice, his stage work runs from Sweeney Todd to Fiddler on the Roof, and beyond. Billboard Magazine praised his “empathetic storytelling” and says he sings “with a finesse that's on par with the likes of Michael Crawford.”
He’s sung everywhere from Southern Baptist revival tents to Carnegie Hall—and he’s still auditioning.
